DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1; TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK VIA KARUMA FALLS

Depending on your location, the safari guide will meet you and brief you about the safari. After the briefing, you will embark on the journey to Murchison falls park. While on the journey, you will have an enroute lunch and a stopover at karuma falls which are found on Victoria Nile within the eastern region of Murchison falls national park. While at karuma falls you will walk around the falls and enjoy the amazing rocks, wildlife species as well as bird species. After the karuma falls tour, you will continue to Murchison falls national park. On arrival you will check into the lodge for dinner and a night stay.

DAY 2; MORNING GAME DRIVE AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE

After breakfast, you will transfer to the park for a morning game drive within the park. While on the game drive, you will spot animals such as elephants, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, lions, Jacksons hartebeest, hyenas, and view bird species. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch.

After lunch, you will go for a boat cruise at the bottom of the falls. The boat ride takes 2 hours and you will spot animals such as elephants, buffaloes, warthogs and antelopes along the shores, water birds such as bee-eaters, kingfishers, fish eagles and hornbills and many others. After, you will hike on top of the falls which takes 45 minutes depending on the level of fitness. Once you reach on the top of the falls, you will head back to the lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.

DAY 3; MORNING GAME DRIVE AND TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA

After having breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and head for a morning game drive where you will spot animals which you previously missed in the game drive. After the game drive, you will embark on the journey back to Kampala. On arrival at Kampala, you will be dropped off at the Entebbe airport for your flight back home.
