4 days Uganda gorillas and golden monkey trekking safari is an amazing trip that takes you to two adventurous national parks that is Mgahinga gorilla’s national park and Bwindi impenetrable national park. While in Mgahinga gorilla’s national park, you will get the opportunity to spend time with the unique golden monkeys as well as the endangered mountain gorillas in Bwindi national park.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Early in the morning after breakfast, the safari guide will pick you and brief you about the safari. After you will embark on the journey to bwindi impenetrable national park. A stopover at the Uganda equator in kayabwe for photography and buy souvenirs then proceed with the journey. Another stopover will be in mbarara for lunch and after lunch we shall embark on the journey. After reaching the national park, you will check in your lodge, freshen up and enjoy the evening.
DAY 2; GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
In the morning after your breakfast, you will be transferred to the parks headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will head into the forest in search of the mountain gorillas. Once the gorillas are found, you will spend with them an hour as you watch them play, feed and breastfeed as you take photos and videos. Besides the mountain gorillas, you will spot other wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, duikers, primates such as baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, l’hoest monkeys as well as a number of bird species. After you will drive back to the lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.
DAY 3; TRANSFER TO MGAHINGA GORILLA NATIONAL PARK FOR GOLDEN MONKEY TREKKING
After the early morning breakfast, you will drive to Mgahinga national parks headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will head into the national park in search of the golden monkeys with the help of the park guide or ranger. Once the golden monkeys are located you will spend an hour with them as you learn their behaviors, watch them feed, play and jump up in trees. After you will head back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a boat cruise on Lake Mutanda where you can view the Virunga Mountains, landscape, and view aquatic bird species among others. After the boat cruise, you will return back to the lodge for a relaxation and dinner.
DAY 4; TRANSFER TO KAMPALA
After having a relaxed breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and head back to Kampala. While on the way you will have lunch as you enjoy views of the kigezi hills, traditional homesteads among others. After reaching Kampala, you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight or any place of convenience.
