DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1; TRANSFER TO JINJA

The driver guide will meet you and brief you about the safari. After the briefing, you will start off the journey to jinja in the eastern region of Uganda. You will drive through lugazi sugarcane factory as well as plantations, Mabira forest is known to be Uganda’s largest rainforest and then after proceed up to jinja. On reaching jinja, you will have lunch and later proceed to the source of the Nile.

With the help of a local guide, you will move around as he is explaining about the source as well as take photos. After you will take a small boat to cross a point which is said to be the source of the Nile. Later you will have an evening sunset boat cruise on Lake Victoria which is relaxing as well as exciting. After you will check into your lodge for dinner and night stay.

DAY 2; TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA

In the morning, you will have breakfast at the lodge and checkout of the lodge. After you will explore more about Jinja and have activities such as white water rafting, bungee jumping, and waterfall visit among others. You can participate in any activity depending on your interest. After you will embark on the journey back to Kampala with enroute lunch. On reaching Kampala, you will be dropped at any location as advised or at the airport for your flight back home.
