6 days Uganda gorillas, Chimps and Big five safari introduces you to Bwindi impenetrable national park for an encounter with the gorillas, Murchison falls national park for a wildlife safari where you will have game drives and spot the big five animals.

DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1; TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

Depending on your location, the safari guide will meet you and brief you about the safari. After the briefing, you will embark on the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park with a stopover at the equator as well have lunch in mbarara. After lunch, you will proceed to the park and head to your lodge for dinner and a night stay.

DAY 2; GORILLA TREKKING AND TRANSFER TO LAKE BUNYONYI

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will be allocated a gorilla group to trek and later set off into the forest in search of the mountain gorillas. This takes 2 to 7 hours depending on the movements of the gorillas within the wild. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend an hour with them as you take photos and observing their behavior. After the trekking, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.

DAY 3; TRANSFER TO KAMPALA

After a relaxed breakfast, you can have an optional boat cruise around the islands. After, you will set off to Kampala with a stopover at the equator to take photos and later proceed to Kampala. On arrival, you will head to your lodge for a refreshment, dinner and a night stay

DAY 4; TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

In the morning after breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey to Murchison falls national park. While on the journey, you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking which takes an hour. After you will have lunch and proceed to the national park. On arrival, you will visit the top of the falls where you will have a breathtaking scenic view of the mighty Nile forcing itself through a 7 meter gorge. After the visit, you will head to your lodge for dinner and a night stay.

DAY 5; MORNING GAME DRIVE AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE

After breakfast, you will cross over with the ferry and go for a morning game drive in the northern part of the park. You will spot animals such as elephants, lions, leopards, gazelles, buffalos among others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.

After lunch, you will go for a boat cruise on river Nile up to the bottom of the falls. This will reward you with hippos and crocodiles, lots of bird species among others. After the boat cruise, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.

DAY 6; CHIMPANZEE TRACKING AND TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA

Budongo Forest

After morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and head to Budongo forest outside Murchison falls national park for a chimpanzee trekking. This takes 1 to 3 hours. After locating the chimpanzees, you will stay with the chimpanzees for an hour in their presence.

After the chimpanzee trekking, you will embark on the journey back to Kampala with enroute lunch. On arrival, you will be dropped at Entebbe international airport for your flight back home or any place of advise.
