Day 1 of 3 days Nyungwe forest Chimpanzee & canopy walk safari: Transfer from Kigali to Nyungwe forest national park
Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park: On the first day of the three-day Nyungwe Forest Chimpanzee & Canopy Walk Safari, a representative from our company will pick you up from your Kigali hotel or, if you arrive very early before 10:00am local time, from Kigali International Airport. Lunch will be served en route as you are driven to Nyungwe Forest National Park. You will be taken directly to your lodge for supper and overnight after arriving at the park.

Day 2 of 3 days Chimpanzee hiking in Nyungwe forest’s canopy walk safari
On the second day , after breakfast, you will be driven to the Cyamudongo forest for an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking safari. The safari begins with a briefing to cover the dos and don’ts of chimpanzee trekking in order to protect the chimpanzees and their natural environment. Keep a look out for opportunities to photograph other animal species, such as mores primates, when chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe Forest National Park, which is home to 13 different species of primates in addition to chimpanzees. Seek out other animals, such as elephants, buffalo, warthogs, and other mammals. Spend little more than an hour with the chimpanzees once you are up close, and then head back to your resort for lunch.
Canopy walk: Still on day 2 , spend more 1 and a half hours to 2 hours on a canopy walk within Nyungwe forest. A canopy walk is a thrilling activity that enables tourists to explore a 50 m-high forest canopy while seeing a variety of animals and plants, including monkeys, mammals, birds, butterflies, amphibians, and plants, among other species of fauna and flora. After the canopy walk, you’ll be taken back to the resort while taking in the park’s many fauna. After supper, enjoy your evening at leisure before retiring for the night.
