3 days Ssese island safari takes you to ssese which comprises of 84 islands in the northwestern part of Lake Victoria in Uganda. The islands are accessed from Nakiwogo in Entebbe or from masaka via Bukakata with a chance of spotting the equator.

DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1; TRANSFER TO SSESE ISLAND

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will be picked by a Uganda safari guide and brief you about the safari. After the briefing, you will be transferred to Nakiwogo landing ferry to catch the 2pm ferry to bugala islands. You will enjoy the cool breeze with the gentle sail and beautiful scenery of over 84 islands, water birds and white sand beaches. On arrival you will check in your lodge and later enjoy the nature walk on the island and after head back to the lodge for dinner and night stay.

DAY 2; SSESE ISLANDS DAY EXCURSIONS

After breakfast in the morning, you will have a quad bike adventure through the forest or have an island tour depending on your interest. After lunch, you will enjoy a boat cruise or canoe ride to the neighboring islands as well as do sport fishing or play volley ball. You will as well enjoy camp fire incase it’s a group trip. After you will have dinner and night stay at the island.

DAY 3; TRANSFER BACK TO ENTEBBE/KAMPALA

In the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to the docking area where you will board the ferry back to the landing site. After you will be transferred back to Entebbe for your flight back home or Kampala.
