Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kibale Forest national Park

Transfer to Kibale: Upon arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be greeted by a company representative as well as the driver / guide from our tours and travel company. You will then be transferred to Kibale forest heading west past Mityana town and have a stopover at Fort Portal town for lunch. This is the first day of your five-day Uganda primates safari. Continue on to the Kibale forest, where you will arrive in the late afternoon. Chimpanzee woodland guest home provided both dinner and lodging for the night.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking

Chimpanzee tracking: On the second day of your 5 Days Uganda Primates Safari, after breakfast, you will go to the park headquarters for a briefing and then proceed for chimpanzee tracking at Kanyanchu. This might take up to a half a day of your time. Primate species such as the golden monkey, the L’Hoest monkey, baboons, white and black colobus monkeys, grey checkered mangabeys, red colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and pottos may be found in the region. Additional creatures found in the forest include enormous forest pigs, forest elephants that are different from the typical variety, and a remarkable tree species.

Enjoy After lunch, you may embark on a nature walk with a guide through the Bigodi wetland refuge, which is known for its abundant birdlife. Day 3: Bwindi impenetrable national park

Transport to Bwindi: On this day of your 5 Days Uganda Primates Safari, you will eat breakfast before setting out for Bwindi impenetrable forest – the home of gorillas. Along the way, you will pass through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National park, which is famed for tree climbing lions. Go to Bwindi, stopping for lunch along the way, and get there in the afternoon. Food and lodging for the night are provided at the Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge.

Day 4: Mountain gorilla tracking

Gorilla trekking: On the fourth day of your five-day Uganda primates safari, after an early breakfast, make your way to the park office headquarters with a packed lunch in order to receive an important briefing before embarking on your Uganda gorilla trekking experience in the dense, impenetrable forest. After hiking for anything between two and eight hours, you will finally reach the gorilla habitat and be able to spend one hour with the animals there. If you still have any strength, all you need to do is take a short trip through the woods to the nearby Batwa settlement. Look into things like the children’s school and the antique stores, among other things. If you are someone who enjoys being outside, the Munyanja river trail is another choice that you have. Along this path, you will be able to see a variety of butterfly and bird species. Come back for dinner and spend the night as described above.

Day 5: Return to Kampala

On the final day of your 5 Days Uganda Primates Safari, you will have breakfast before being sent back to Kampala. You will stop for lunch on way at the town of Mbarara, where you will have the opportunity to take photographs near the Equator if you so want. Transfer to the Entebbe airport in preparation for your journey back home, bringing with you fond memories of your gorilla and chimpanzee tracking adventures.
