The 5 days Bwindi gorillas and lake Mburo wildlife safari is an amazing adventure which takes you to explore the mountain gorillas in bwindi impenetrable national park where you will spend an hour with them in their natural habitat. This Uganda safari as well takes you to Lake Mburo national park where you will have views of wildlife species such as leopards, Uganda kob, waterbucks, bushbucks, hippos, crocodiles and many more while on game drives.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
You will be picked by the safari guide depending on your location. After, you will embark on the journey to bwindi national park. You will have a stopover at the equator in kayabwe and proceed with the journey with an enroute lunch. On arrival at the national park, you will check in your lodge for a relaxation, have dinner and a night stay.
DAY 2; GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast in the early morning, you will be transferred to the parks headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will be divided in groups of 8 where each is allocated a family to trek. The trekking takes 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on the location of the mountain gorillas. While on the trek, you will spot primates such as baboons, l’hoests monkeys, bird species and mammals. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend an hour with them and even take photos and videos with them. After you will head back to the parks headquarters for your certificate and have lunch as well. After you will head back to the lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.
DAY 3; TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
After your morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey to Lake Mburo national park. While on the way you will have an enroute lunch as you enjoy amazing views. On reaching at Lake Mburo national park, you will head to a walking safari which is optional. During the walking safari you will spot wildlife, bird species and many more. After the nature walk, you will head back to your lodge for a relaxation, dinner and night stay.
DAY 4 MORNING GAME DRIVE AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE
Early in the morning, you will have your breakfast and head for the morning game drive where you will spot wildlife species such as elands, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, giraffes and many more as they are grazing on the open savannah plains. After the game drive you will head to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will head for a boat cruise experience where you will spot animals such as hippos, Nile crocodiles as they are in water, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs as they are drinking water and the water birds such as bee-eaters, fish eagles, and cormorants among others. After you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 5; TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
After the morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey back to Kampala. You will have lunch on the way as you head to Kampala. On reaching Kampala, you will be dropped off at the airport or any place of your choice.
