10 days Uganda family safari introduces you to the most visited Uganda safari parks for an adventure experience. While on the safari you will trek the mountain gorillas twice and spend an hour with them, have a boat cruise at the amazing kazinga channel, game drives in queen Elizabeth national park then head to lake bunyonyi, sesse island and then return back home.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
On arrival, the safari guide will meet you and brief you about the safari. After the briefing, you will embark on the journey to Queen Elizabeth national park. You will have a stopover at the Uganda equator for photos and as well buy souvenirs, another stopover will be in mbarara for lunch. After lunch you will continue with the journey up to the national park. On arrival you will check into your lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 2; GAME DRIVE AND LAUNCH CRUISE
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park where you will spot animals such as buffalos, African elephants, impala, and antelopes among others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will go for a launch cruise along the kazinga channel where you will spot hippos and crocodiles in water and birds along the shores among others. After the launch cruise, you will return to the lodge for diner and a night stay.
DAY 3; EXPLORE ISHASHA SECTOR
After having your breakfast, you will head to the ishasha sector in search of the tree climbing lions. You will spot these species lounging on trees as well as other wildlife species. You will enjoy the morning game drive and evening game drives. After the game viewing, you will return to the lodge for dinner and night stay.
DAY 4; TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
You will have breakfast and depart from the ishasha sector for Bwindi with enroute lunch in kabale. On arrival, you will check into your lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 5; GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI
You will have an early morning and be transferred to the parks headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will enter into the forest in search of the mountain gorillas. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend an hour with them as you learn more about their day to day activities. After the trekking, you will return to the lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.
DAY 6; SECOND GORILLA TREKKING
After having morning breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will enter into the forest in search of the mountain gorillas with the help of the park rangers. You will be allocated another gorilla family to trek and the trekking takes 2 to 8 hours. Once the mountain gorillas are located, you will spend an hour with the mountain gorillas as you watch their behaviors and take photos and record moments. After the trekking, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 7; TRANSFER TO BUNYONYI
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi in kabale which is known as the Switzerland of Africa. You will have enroute lunch and then on arrival, you will embark on an afternoon boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi where you will visit different islands each with its story. While on the cruise, you will spot a number of birds and learn more about and from the locals. After the cruise, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 8; TRANSFER TO SESSE ISLAND
After morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey to Sesse Island where you will pass in ntungamo and mbarara town. After you will have a stopover in masaka for lunch. After lunch, you will connect to Bukakata road for a ferry through Lake Victoria to Sesse Island. On arrival, you head to your lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 9; NATURE WALK AND SUNSET CRUISE
After morning breakfast, you go for a guided nature walk on the beautiful sesse islands where you will spot many birds as well as enjoy the tranquil nature. After you will return to the lodge to relax and have lunch. After lunch you will go for a sunset boat cruise accompanied with cold drinks. After, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 10; FERRY CROSSING AND DEPARTURE
After having breakfast, you will depart sesse for a ferry to Nakiwogo in Entebbe and have a tour within Entebbe town such as visiting the local markets and the botanical gardens. After, you will be dropped at Entebbe international airport for your flight back home or any place of advise.
