The 3 days mount Bisoke hiking Safari is an amazing experience where you will explore the flora and fauna within the mountain. The mountain stands at a 3700meters above sea level. The top of the mountain has a spectacular crater lake and the hike simply takes 6 hours to hike and 2 hours descending down.

DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1; TRANSFER TO MUSANZE

You will be picked from the airport or your hotel from Kigali and transferred to Musanze by the driver guide. The drive lasts for 2 to 3 hours with a stopover along the way. After reaching in musanze you will check into the lodge and have dinner and a night stay.

DAY 2; HIKING MOUNT BISOKE

Early after your breakfast, you will head to the parks headquarters at kinigi for a briefing and later head for the hiking. The hike takes 6 to 8 hours depending on the hiking experience. While on the hike, you will come across a number of vegetation’s ranging from the bamboo forests, Hagenia-Hypericum forest and Senecio-Lobelia bush next to the summit. You will have your lunch and later return to your lodge and have dinner

DAY 3; DESCEND AND TRANSFER TO KIGALI

After the morning breakfast, you will head to Kigali and visit the memorial grounds and have lunch. After you will be transferred to the airport to catch up with your flight.
