4 Days Flying Gorilla Tour : As part of your Uganda gorilla safari, you will get the opportunity to hike gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. If you fly to Bwindi Forest National Park, you would be there in half the time it would take you to drive there (two hours versus eight to ten hours).
Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe
We will collect you up at Entebbe International Airport upon arrival for your flying gorilla tour, and then bring you to Karibu Guesthouse (15 min drive).
Overnight: Karibu Guest House.
Day 2 – Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
At 6:15 in the morning, we will pick you up from your accommodation and drive you to Entebbe International Airport so that you can get a flight to either Kisoro or Kihihi airfield in the south-western region of Uganda. Take in the beautiful sights during your hour-long journey. You will be greeted by the driver at the airport, and from there you will have a two-hour journey to the lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Canoeing and afternoon strolls through the village are both offered as options. Silverback Lodge or Nkuringo Gorilla Camp will be your home for the night.
Day 3 – Gorilla Trekking Bwindi
On the 3rd day of your 4 Days Flying Gorilla Tour, The gorilla trekking experience can last anywhere from a few hours to an entire day, depending on the location of the gorillas as they roam freely in the impenetrable forest. We will take you to the briefing point to begin the gorilla trekking experience, but this will depend on the gorilla group that you will be trekking. After the conclusion of this enchanted experience, we will transport you back to the lodge, where you may choose to either relax for the remainder of the day or take another stroll to pay a visit to one of the neighboring settlements. Silverback Lodge or Nkuringo Gorilla Camp will be your overnight destination.
Day 4 – Fly to Entebbe and departure
After breakfast bright and early, we will transport you down to the airfield so that you may board your flight to Entebbe. When you have arrived in Entebbe, we will have a room prepared for you at the Karibu Guesthouse so that you may clean up and have lunch and dinner before taking you to the airport for your flight.
