4 days chimpanzees and crater lakes safari introduces you to the rugged, rain forests and walk with the great apes. The Uganda safari takes you to Kibale national park for chimpanzee trekking as well as the crater lakes that are found within kasese.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
Early in the morning after your breakfast, you will be picked and briefed by the safari guide. After you will embark on a journey to Kibale national park in the western Uganda. There will be a stopover in fort portal for lunch and later proceed to the national park. On arrival you will be transferred to your lodge check in, refreshen as you wait for the next day activities.
DAY 2; CHIMPANZEE TREKKING AND TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Early in the morning after your breakfast, you will be transferred to the parks headquarters for a briefing. After you will head into the forest in search of the chimpanzees. After locating the chimpanzees, you will spend with them an hour as you monitor their behaviors, feeding patterns, how they play, jump from one tree to another as you take photos and videos. After you will head back to your lodge have lunch.
After lunch you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth national park. On reaching to queen Elizabeth national park you will be dropped off at your lodge and check in, relax have dinner and prepare for the next day activities.
DAY 3; VISIT THE CRATER LAKE
Early in the morning after having breakfast, the safari guide will transfer you to the Crater Lake. Lake Katwe is found in the highest point of Queen Elizabeth national park within the mweya peninsular. The lake is the main supplier of salt in Uganda and thus too salty for any aquatic animal to survive. Its 3,265 feet deep and only elephants, buffaloes and flamingos that are seen near the baboon cliff. You will enjoy the stunning views of the kazinga channel, Lake George, Lake Edward, rift valley and the rwenzori mountains.
Lake Kitagata is fed by the salty hot spring and gives a view of the kyemango crater. After the visit you will head back to your lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay
DAY 4; MORNING GAME DRIVE AND TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
In the morning after your morning breakfast, the Uganda safari guide will pick you and head for the morning game drive. You will have an opportunity to see animals before you go back such as antelopes, elephants, buffaloes, lions, giraffes and many more. After you will embark on the journey back to Kampala. After reaching Kampala, you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home or any place of your choice.
