The 3 days Uganda birding safari takes you to Lake Mburo national park which is among the best parks for a birding safari as well as wildlife. The landscape, wetlands, lakes, savannah, rolling hills, acacia trees make it a good habitat for a large number of birds. The national park has over 313 types of bird species.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO MABAMBA SWAMP AND LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
The safari guide will pick you from Entebbe and brief you about the Uganda safari. After the briefing, you will drive to mabamba swamp in search of the prehistoric shoebill stork as well as other bird species such as the swamp fly catcher, olive bellied sunbird, African fish eagle, knob-billed duck and Angola swallow among others. After the birding experience at the swamp, you will head to Lake Mburo national park with an enroute lunch.
On arrival to the national park you will check into the lodge and head out to the park for another birding experience. After, you will head back to the lodge for a relaxation dinner and night stay.
DAY 2; MORNING BIRDING AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE
You will head out for the morning birding after your breakfast during the game drive within the park. You will spot animals such as bateleur, grey-crowned crane, brown-chested lapwing, coqui francolin among others. After, you will head back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will enjoy the afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo in search of the African fin foot, white winged swamp warbler. White-backed night among others. After return to your lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 3; TRANSFER BACK TO ENTEBBE AND BIRDING AT BOTANICAL GARDENS
After having breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge and drive to Entebbe an enroute lunch and a stopover at the equator in kayabwe. After reaching, you will drive up to botanical gardens where you will spot bathawk, African grey parrot, and golden-backed weaver among others as well as other bird species. After, you will be dropped at Entebbe for your flight or hotel of your choice.
