3 Days mgahinga gorilla trekking safari : On your 3 Days mgahinga gorilla trekking safari, spend 3 days in Mgahinga National Park. Although though it is home to a smaller population of mountain gorillas than Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, this national park is still an amazing place to trek gorillas and see them up close. Bwindi is the location of the most majority of gorilla trekking safaris that are offered in Uganda. This is just another reason why you should think about paying a visit to this magical national park in the Virunga Mountains. Please refer to the following timetable for the safari;
Day 1; Travel to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
You will meet our local guide immediately before breakfast on the first day of your three-day Mgahinga Gorilla Safari, and then you will travel to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in southwest Uganda. At the equator, we are going to take a break for some coffee and then take some pictures. Due to the fact that the Equator separates the northern and southern hemispheres of the world, you are able to take images with both of your legs at various locations on the globe. After that, we will make a direct trip to Kisoro, where we will have some time to relax before beginning our gorilla tracking the next day. In the Kisoro Travelers Rest Hotel, both the meals and the beds were provided.
Day 2; Gorilla trekking
On the second day of your three-day Mgahinga gorilla safari, you will participate in the most important activity, which is gorilla tracking. After an early breakfast, we will make our way to the location that has been chosen as our meeting spot for a pre-briefing. After that, we will make our way to the Mgahinga forest, where we will go on a mountain walk. As part of the experience, we are going to embark on a trek through the bamboo and the forest in order to look for gorillas. There is no experience on earth that can compare to looking into the eyes of a mountain gorilla while taking images of them and interacting with them physically. Because tracking gorillas is a rather physically demanding activity, you can expect to feel exhausted by the time you reach your destination. In the Kisoro Travelers Rest Hotel, both the meals and the beds were provided.
Day 3: Travel back to Kampala
On the final day of your three-day Mgahinga gorilla safari, after having an early morning breakfast, we shall then embark on our return journey to Kampala as we drive through the beautiful, refreshing grass plains of western Uganda as we look through the hills of the region that was nicknamed “the little Switzerland of Africa.” Along the way, we shall look through the hills of the region that was nicknamed “the little Switzerland of Africa.” Your morning will begin with a sense of peace and renewal thanks to the sweeping vistas that can be seen at this location. One final stop will be made near the equator before we continue on to Kampala to catch up with your return flight.
