4 days kahuzi biega gorillas and lwiro chimpanzees is a short Congo safari which introduces you to the primates such as the lowland gorillas and the chimpanzees.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER FROM KIGALI TO BUKAVU
Early in the morning, you will meet the safari guide and brief you about the safari. After the briefing you will embark on the journey to Bukavu. You will have a visit to Butare museum and Nyanza kings palace with enroute lunch. After you will continue with the journey to Rusizi II border to cross into Congo. After you will head to the immigration office and connect to bukavu at your lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 2; LWIRO CHIMPANZEE SANCTUARY
After having a morning breakfast, you will meet your driver and head to lwiro chimpanzee sanctuary which is a home to the orphaned, harmed and rescued chimpanzees. On arrival you will take part in the daily activities of the sanctuary. After the visit, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 3; EASTERN LOWLAND GORILLA TREKKING IN KAHUZI BIEGA NATIONAL PARK
After the morning breakfast, you will head to Kahuzi iega national park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will head into the forest in search of the lowland gorilla. Once they are located you will spend an hour with them as you take photos and videos. After you will return back to your hotel for a relaxation, dinner and night stay.
DAY 4; TRANSFER BACK TO KIGALI
After your morning breakfast, you will embark on your journey back to Kigali. You will exit Congo from Rusizi II border with enroute lunch. On arrival at Kigali, you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home or any place of advice.
