The 2 days Virunga gorilla trekking Safari takes you to the Virunga national park one of the oldest national park in Congo. This Congo safari takes you in encounter with man’s closest relatives. The national park is the only park with both mountain gorillas as well as the eastern lowland gorillas.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; PICK UP FROM KIGALI AND TRANSFER TO GOMA
You will be picked from Kigali and start on a journey through the amazing Rwanda countryside, hills as well as forests and the amazing Lake Kivu. While at gisenyi, you will have lunch and then cross Congo through goma. While in goma city, you will enjoy amazing views of goma and the roads that lead to your accommodation.
After checking into the hotel, you will visit the senkwekwe center in the evening, after the visit you will head back to your hotel for dinner and night stay.
DAY 2; VIRUNGA GORILLA TREKKING AND DEPARTURE
on the 2nd day if your 2 days Virunga gorilla trekking Safari , early in the morning, you will be driven to the national park headquarters for a briefing where you will be told about the gorilla groups as well as what to expect during the gorilla trekking. Then you will embark on the journey of searching the endangered mountain gorillas. While on search for the gorillas expect to spot other primates such as golden monkeys, giant forest hogs, colobus monkeys among others. Once the gorillas are found, you will spend with them only an hour as you observe their behaviors such as how they feed, play, breast feed among others. You will take photos and videos as well.
After you will depart and head back to Kigali were you will be dropped to the hotel or the airport for your flight back home
